Description
BG Cribbage is an accessible version of the uniquely elegant, two player card game. Using a hand of five cards, you are required to create runs, pairs, or sequences totalling 15. Things are complicated by the fact that you first have to discard two cards to the crib, ----- a second hand of four cards which alternates between you and your opponent.
Another interesting twist, is that the game contains both a "play" phase, in which you and your opponent take turns putting down cards to reach a maximum of 31, earning points for certain scores, and a "show" phase, in which the hands are scored based on what combinations of cards they have. This is ideal for anyone who likes a complex showdown style card game with heavy elements of strategy and management of your hand. Fortunately, a help file is provided with the rules of Cribbage, to let you understand the game before you start playing.
