"Welcome to Deekout, a free game by BSC Games. It's probably also the most annoying, and pointless, game you have ever played."
Or so it is written. Deekout is a small free game from BSCgames. Once you start the game, you will hear the intro and the game begins immediately. Basically, the goal of the game is to dodge the computer controlled enemy for as long as possible. You play on a 21 by 21 grid. You use your four arrow keys to move around the grid. The computer opponent will be moving towards you. You can tell how close on the x axis (that is, left to right) the computer is by the position of the constant looping sound in the speakers. It will start at the right, and as he moves to the left, so does the sound. If the sound is centered, it means he is on the same column that you are. A way to avoid the computer opponent is to choose cyclic paths. But beware, the computer will speed up or find shortcuts!
Deekout is a small exciting game to brighten up quite a lot of rainy days!
Though Bsc closed forever in March of 2013, Daniel Zingaro has agreed their titles can be made abandonware, and now all are available at the above link on the Audiogames archive. Also be sure to check the page for some tips on running the games on more modern versions of Windows.
