When your entire town is destroyed and taken over by the evil monster known as the Drone there is only one thing you can do, ---- buy some slaves and weaponry, and ride off on your horse to give him what for.
Of course, as usual in these sorts of situations, you'll need some special items such as the glowing staff and gold ring to defeat him and get passed his evil guards, and that's not counting wandering monsters, mad wise men, an unpredictable wishing well and lots of other nasties.
Drone therefore mixes stat management turn based combat, some cunning puzles, and a litle bit of dumb luck all together into a handy litle text adventure.
Being a dos game, Drone runs in a console window, and it's therefore recommended that people use the virtual focus, Window eyes curser or Jaws curser to navigate the screen. Jaws users might also wish to set their screen echo to all, and Hal users should make sure the console window map is selected.
