BG Spider Solitare, like Spoonbill's earlier Freecell Solitare is an accessible version of a solitare card game that comes with windows. As with most solitare games, the object is to line cards up correctly in columns, in Spider Solitare however, the cards begin as columns and are not taken from tablo stacks, thus columns need to be emptied before they can again be filled with cards arranged correctly. This produces a rather more difficult varient of the Solitare game and so is perfect for anyone who desires a challenge.
The BG version offers several features, including three difficulties of play, extensive documentation and the ability to get a couple of hints. Also, as with all other spoonbill games, Microsoft Sapi is used to provide a self voicing capability and there are plenty of keys for looking around the board. In addition you can magnify the graphics if you have partial sight, and play midi music during the game.
To get a copy of the game, just send an E-mail to ian Humphries on [email protected] and he'll gladly send you one, also adding you to the BG mailing list so that you will be first to know about future game releases.
